  • Overview

    Methode is seeking a Material Scheduling, Planning & Logistics.  In this role, you will work closely with the Materials Planning & Logistics Supervisor and team to schedule the delivery of materials used in product launch and production.

    Responsibilities

    • Form part of the advanced team for material scheduling, planning & logistics (MSP&L)
    • Schedule delivery of materials used in launch and production to ensure we have raw materials available to meet build schedules
    • Coordinate the inventory activities related to product revision changes with Change Management ensuring it does not negatively impact production, customer shipments and obsolesce
    • Facilitate conference calls for supplier delivery issues and create recovery plans to support production
    • Manage the flow of inbound inventory and make sure products are properly shipped to Methode
    • Create and issue CMS purchase orders for MRO items
    • Other duties as required

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Associates Degree highly desired
    • At least 3 years of industry related experience in a similar role
    • Materials planning experience a plus
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
    • Ability to analyze data and information and to make effective and timely decisions
    • Ability to work under pressure and react to situations with a strong sense of urgency 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail oriented, organized and reliable
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
