  • Overview



    This position will be based in China.




    Manage IT team to meet with the business requirement of 3 plants including Network, ERP system, hardware and software. Make sure IT function is performed safely in line with corporate policy and procedure.




    • AS400 Maintenance
    • Hardware maintenance, software upgrade, system backup
    • Network hardware and software maintenance
    • Server: Domain controller, Exchange server, File server, Symantec Anti-Virus server, WSUS server and other related servers.
    • LAN: Network devices, ATM/FTTC+LAN/30B+D dedicated lines
    • PBX and office devices/peripherals such as printer, scanner, fax, copier and etc.
    • Security: Firewall, Network, System, Application, Data and hardware
    • SOX compliance
    • Make sure that system security, user ID setup, daily operation are in line with corporate internal control requirement
    • Control spending for IT hardware and software
    • Foresee the needs for purchasing new IT hardware and software. Balance 3 plants’ needs. Monitor the spending vs. budget. 
    • ERP implementation
    • Lead the ERP engineer to implement new solution or modify the current solution based on business requirement. 
    • Communicate and cooperate with corporate IT to complete tasks. 
    • Manage IT and ERP engineers.




    • Fluent in both English and Mandarin
    • Bachelor in computer science or related.
    • 6 years of IT experience or over. Be familiar with manufacturing environment:
    • At least3 years experience in supporting an ERP system (SolarSoft’s CMS/iVP is preferred),Knowledge of AS400 system;
    • Experience supporting a Global, multi-location business
    • Extensive experience with core software applications, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Microsoft Project.
    • Demonstrated project management skills.
    • Good analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
    • Good communication and presentation skills, customer-focused and good understanding of business environment and processes, able to adapt and function effectively in cross-cultural and cross-function business community.
    • Able to work independently and contribute effectively to teamwork.
    • Outgoing and enthusiastic with people and business.
    • Pragmatic and a "go-getter''.
