    Description:

    The primary purpose of this position is to lead all Launch Team activities and assure all program launch success requirements are met including safety, delivery, quality, and cost.

    Responsibilities

    • Build, maintain, and communicate product launch plans and track the deliverables, milestones, risks and dependencies from the cross functional launch team.
    • Anticipate bottlenecks, work out contingencies with the team and provide escalation management throughout new product launch.
    • Ensure that all internal goals for new program launch are tracked and met including delivery, cost, and quality
    • Advocate for all stakeholders throughout the release cycle to ensure they have the support needed to succeed. 
    • Support all launch activities and ensures that each program follows the Methode launch process
    • Ensure that program timelines, issues lists, launch scorecards, and electronic program folders are properly maintained
    • Lead and direct all launch team activities and establishes priorities when conflicts arise
    • Ensure all customer deliverables (internal and external) are on time and high in quality
    • Chair regularly scheduled meetings with the customer
    • Routinely updates management and key stakeholders on project status and key metrics
    • Demonstrate ownership, initiative and accountability on all assigned projects
    • Ensure cross functional communication & alignment
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required
    • 5 + years’ experience
    • Natural leadership abilities
    • Ability to solve complex problems in a multifunctional environment
    • Outstanding organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or vendors
    • Ability to effectively present information to top management as well as public groups
    • Familiarity with UL standards for appliance controls and safety switches is preferred
    • Proficient in using MS Project, Excel & Word. Microsoft Access is a plus
