    The HCM/HRIS Manager is responsible for providing leadership, planning, project coordination and management for the design and oversight of HRIS initiatives in support of organizational goals and practices, including workforce intelligence and predictive analytics.


    The HCM/HRIS Manager reports to the Global Director of Compensation & HCM and serves as the primary interface between HR and IT, software vendors, Accounting and Payroll to ensure HRIS system integrity.  This is a leadership role responsible for the management of Methode’s Human Capital Management System, and all its HR components, as well as day to day operations of the HRIS function.  We are open to some flexibility work schedule and potential  work from home options.


    • Lead the Workday implementation, and manage, the analysis of HR data and metrics to provide relevant information and predictive analytics to HR and organizational leadership in support of business objectives
    • Perform system maintenance, including the review, testing and implementation of HR systems upgrades and/or patches
    • Manage day-to-day HRIS activities to support HR, Payroll and other interrelated functions
    • Negotiate business priorities and support requirements with IT, HR and others
    • Partner with HR Leadership, IT, and Accounting to manage the delivery and utilization of HRIS resources including system and business requirements, the design and implementation of HRIS solutions and oversight of HRIS best practices
    • Foster and maintain positive relationships with HRIS constituents, including management and the HRIS customer base
    • Interface between internal/external customers and functional team members to ensure effective definition and delivery of HRIS applications
    • Prioritize work assignments and management of functional team resources
    • Oversee training and development of user procedures, guidelines and documentation
    • Promote HRIS proactive approaches to solving business needs/problems while also enhancing understanding and acceptance of HRIS capabilities
    • Negotiate HRIS priorities and support requirements with IT, functional staff and others based on business need
    • Act as HRIS Subject Matter Expert for reporting, training and troubleshooting
    • Plan, budget and forecast HRIS needs and applications
    • Maintain awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact on current/future HRIS functionality
    • Review impending business issues that have direct impacts on HRIS and provide senior management with an assessment of the HRIS impact, scheduling considerations and any other information required for a complete business case
    • Promote proactive approaches using HRIS in order to solve business needs/problems
    • Other duties as assigned


    • Bachelor degree required; preferably in IT, Computer Science or technical field
    • At least 5 years of Workday HRIS/HCMS management experience within global companies
    • Highly skilled in implementing, configuring and maintaining HRIS/HCMS applications
    • Experience with SaaS HRIS/HCMS applications; Workday
    • Proven project management experience; project planning, budgets, resource allocations, and objectives
    • Strong collaboration skills in order to partner effectively across business units
    • Prior experience creating system documentation and training materials
    • Strong working knowledge of global data privacy laws
    • Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed, focused execution
    • Experience managing relationships with 3rd party vendors
